Living in San Diego, the crave for mexican food is as undying as my need for travel.  It never ends, it’s constant, it’s an addiction. Fortunately for me, mexican restaurants can be found on nearly every corner here. Unfortunately for me, most mexican food is home to high sodium levels and the bloat is for real afterwards.  After weeks of travel and foreign cuisine, I craved some good ol’ mexi so I whipped up this little dish and I have to say, it’s become a favorite of mine.

Spicy Lemon Shrimp Tacos: 

Ingreds: Makes 6 tacos

  • 1/2 lbs fresh shrimp, pealed and deveined
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 3 tbs olive oil
  • 3 tsp black pepper
  • 3 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 3 tsp paprika
  • Cilantro
  • Whole wheat tortillas
  • Avocado
